I hope if you’re reading this that it means you’ll be coming to Hartland to be a customer at Birch & Banyan Coffee. Don’t forget to introduce yourself when you stop in!
This business is the culmination of a 15-year life dream, instilled in me during my first job at a local coffeeshop during high school. Opening a shop of my own was in the back of my mind during college, grad school, and my career in digital marketing.
In the summer of 2015 I took to heart a quote I had always heard:
“The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.”
I felt like this quote was screaming at me. I spend my time in coffeeshops. They’ve always been my places to go for a sense of calmness and comfort. What was I waiting for before opening my own place that could provide that sense to other people?
Over 18 months of research, hard work, and definite obstacles, here we are. Thank you for visiting Birch & Banyan Coffee and helping to make a dream come true.
